At Our Shine Academy and Learning Center, we recognize that toddlerhood is a time of exploration, discovery, and rapid development. Our Toddler Program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where your little one can build confidence, develop essential skills, and foster a love of learning.
Our Toddler Classroom serves children aged 12 months to 2 1/2 years. This stage of growth is filled with curiosity, energy, and the joy of newfound independence. Through a balance of play, guided activities, and social interaction, we encourage toddlers to reach key milestones while supporting their individuality and creativity.
Our program is designed to align with your child’s developmental journey, helping them grow in the following areas:
Walking, running, climbing, and improving hand-eye coordination.
Identifying objects, solving simple problems, and exploring cause and effect.
Playing alongside peers, recognizing emotions, and beginning to share.
Expanding vocabulary, combining two-word phrases, and following simple instructions.
A typical day in our Toddler Classroom is filled with exploration, laughter, and growth. Here’s what your child will experience:
A cheerful start to the day with smiles and warm greetings.
Songs, stories, and group activities to build social and communication skills.
Hands-on activities like building blocks, sensory tables, and puzzles.
Safe, supervised time for running, climbing, and developing gross motor skills.
Healthy meals and snacks that encourage self-feeding and good manners.
A calm, cozy space for rest and recharging.
Art projects, music, and imaginative play to end the day on a fun and enriching note.
Our caregivers ensure tummy time is fun and engaging, using toys, songs, and gentle encouragement to make it a positive experience.
Our program is focused on helping your toddler develop the skills they need to navigate their expanding world:
Helping toddlers practice self-care skills like feeding and tidying up toys.
Expanding vocabulary and encouraging self-expression through words and gestures.
Teaching the basics of sharing, taking turns, and playing with peers.
Guiding toddlers through activities that enhance coordination and physical confidence.
