At Our Shine Academy and Learning Center, we understand the importance of your baby’s first year of life. Our Infant Program is thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where your little one can explore, bond, and thrive.
Our Infant Classroom serves babies aged 6 weeks to 12 months, offering individualized care that meets each baby's unique needs. With a low teacher-to-infant ratio, our caregivers focus on fostering emotional security, encouraging developmental milestones, and building trusting relationships with both babies and their families. This classroom is a shoe-free zone to ensure a clean and safe space.
Our program is designed to help your baby reach important developmental milestones:
Rolling over, sitting up, reaching, and grasping objects.
Exploring their environment, recognizing faces, and responding to sounds.
Smiling, cooing, and forming attachments with caregivers.
Babbling, mimicking sounds, and responding to their name.
We incorporate tummy time into our daily routines to support your baby’s physical development. Tummy time helps:
Helping babies develop the foundation for sitting and crawling.
By promoting balance and controlled movements.
By encouraging varied positions during play.
Our caregivers ensure tummy time is fun and engaging, using toys, songs, and gentle encouragement to make it a positive experience.
Each day in the Infant Classroom is carefully planned to balance care, learning, and play:
Warm welcomes, snuggles, and individualized attention.
Soft toys, textured mats, and sensory bottles.
Singing, clapping, and gentle movement activities.
Following your baby’s schedule for bottles, meals, and restful naps.
Fresh air and stroller walks (weather permitting).
We provide daily updates through our parent communication app, ensuring you stay informed about your baby’s day.
Our program supports your baby in achieving the following developmental goals:
Creating a sense of security through consistent care and affection.
Providing a safe environment for sensory and motor development.
Encouraging early language skills through songs, stories, and interaction.
Enhancing gross and fine motor skills through tummy time, crawling, and reaching activities.
Promoting interaction with caregivers and peers for social development.
